MILAN -- Gas production has begun from six wells connected to the Annamaria A platform in Croatian waters of the Adriatic Sea, according to Eni. A sister platform, Annamaria B, located in the Italian waters, is currently in the final authorization phase for production start up.
At full capacity, the Annamaria field will produce about 1.6 MMcm/d, the company says.
Eni operates the Annamaria A platform through a 50% share in INAgip, a joint operating company with INA. The company operates Annamaria B with a 90% share in a joint venture with Ligestra.
