CNOOC Ltd. (NYSE:CEO;SEHK:00883) is reporting that ConocoPhillips China Inc. has recovered the “small amount” of oil leaked at Penglai 19-3 oil field two days ago and that no oil sheen is visible at the site.

HONG KONG –CNOOC Ltd. (NYSE:CEO;SEHK:00883) is reporting that ConocoPhillips China Inc. has recovered the “small amount” of oil leaked at Penglai 19-3 oil field two days ago and that no oil sheen is visible at the site.
A hose coupling parted and as much as 0.6 tons of oil (<10 bbl.) was released before automatic isolation valves closed the flow.
