Shell has awarded a $10-million contract to Wood Group PSN to build a Computerized Maintenance Management System for the Prelude FLNG facility of Western Australia.

ABERDEEN, UK –Shell has awarded a $10-million contract to Wood Group PSN to build a Computerized Maintenance Management System for the Prelude FLNG facility off Western Australia.
The CMMS will be designed to optimize the maintenance, reliability, and productivity of the FLNG facility and to give Shell the data, reporting tools, and strategies required to execute asset maintenance and inspection plans.
The project will involve teams in Perth, Australia, and Aberdeen, and will include expertise from the sister Wood Group Integrity Management.
