LONDON – EnQuest has issued updates on its UK North Sea production activities.

At the Magnus field in the East Shetland basin, production was lower during the first four months of the year at 14,250 boe/d, due to a third-party outage, power-related failures, and slower execution of the well intervention program.

The power issues have now been rectified and well interventions will continue, along with programs for increased water injection and facility optimization.

The Kraken FPSO was briefly offline in March to allow for a replacement to a tether in the mooring system. Otherwise, subsurface and well performance remains stable, along with aggregate water cut.

At the Greater Kittiwake Area in the UK central North Sea, although compression uptime and gas lift performance had a positive impact, this was partly offset by lower production caused primarily by failure of an umbilical supplying power to the Mallard and Gadwall wells

Power reinstatement will take place this summer.
