DNV GL handling Total’s North Sea verification needs

OSLO, Norway – Total E&P UK has awarded DNV GL a three-year contract to support its facilities in the North Sea.

DNV GL will undertake verification, classification and flag, risk advisory services, and major accident hazard awareness training at the Shetland Gas Plant, and at the Elgin Franklin, Alwyn, Culzean, and Gryphon fields.  

It was also safety services provider for various production facilities operated by Maersk Oil when Total acquired the company in 2018.
