OPEX to deploy X-PAS on CNOOC North Sea platforms

ABERDEEN, UK – CNOOC Petroleum Europe has contracted OPEX Group to provide digital services across its UK offshore assets.

Under the three-year contract, the contractor will deploy its X-PAS predictive analysis service on the Buzzard, Golden Eagle and Scott platforms in the UK central North Sea, supporting operations across all topsides oil, gas, water and power systems.

X-PAS is designed to help operators improve the predictability of offshore operations.  OPEX had been providing digital services for CNOOC previously under a separate contract.
