ABERDEEN, UK – Petrofac’s Engineering and Production Services division has secured two operations and maintenance (O&M) contract extensions in the UK North Sea valued in total at around $32 million.
One is a 12-month renewal from Total E&P UK for the provision of O&M support to the Alwyn and Dunbar platforms in the northern UK sector.
The other is a 12-month extension from an unnamed IOC, under which Petrofac will continue to provide offshore and onshore O&M support to a platform in the UK central North Sea.
In both cases the company will manage the program for its dedicated 24/7 operations hub, which offers the flexibility of shared resources across contracts.
Currently Petrofac supports 45 North Sea assets and has held 80% of the associated contracts for a decade or more.
