Allseas’ Lorelay vessel installs North Sea NO5-A gas pipeline

Allseas completed installation of ONE-Dyas’ N05-A gas pipeline system earlier this month in the Dutch North Sea.

The N05-A development is sitiated about 20 km north of the islands Schiermonnikoog and Borkum.

Allseas’ responsibilities included transport and installation of the 15 km that connects the wind-powered N0F-A gas platform to the NGT trunkline system, which runs to Uithuizen.

The Lorelay vessel performed shallow-water pipelay, pipeline burial and pre-commissioning activities.

The infrastructure is also designed to support future development of green hydrogen as well as carbon capture and storage.
