Offshore staff

VICENZA, Italy --Socotherm Americas SA has won an $11-million contract for pipe coating and insulation at Cuu Long field off Vietnam in the South China Sea.

Coating work will be done by APC Socotherm at Wollongong, Australia, starting in 4Q 2007 on 51 km (32 mi) of 10-in (25.4-cm) diameter pipe. The contract also includes coating of fittings, installation of anodes, and field joint coating from the pipelay vessel.
