Offshore staff

LONDON --Murphy Sabah Oil Co. has awarded a contract for the Kikeh Gas Pipeline Project to TL Offshore Sdn. Bhd. covering the gas export pipeline from the field off Malaysia to the Labuan Gas Terminal.

The contract involves engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of a 138 km (86 mi), 12-in (30.5-cm) diameter pipeline in water depth down to 1,350 m (4,429 ft). It also covers pipe procurement and coating, landfall work, installation of the deepwater pipeline end manifold, and in-line tee for future tie-in of Kinabalu East/Deep platform. Work is scheduled to being in 3Q 2007.

The deepwater pipeline installation is scheduled to be done by SapuraAcergy'sSapura 3000 pipelay vessel. The vessel is being fitted out in Singapore.
