Global Industries wins Pemex installation contract

Pemex has awarded Global Industries Ltd. subsidiary Global Offshore Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V., a $40 million pipeline installation contract.

CARLYSS, Louisiana -- Pemex has awarded Global Industries Ltd. subsidiary Global Offshore Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V., a $40 million pipeline installation contract.
Global's scope of work includes trenching, installation, subsea connection, and pre-commissioning of a 24-in. (61-cm) x 6-km (4-mi) pipeline on the Pemex-operated Ixtal field offshore Mexico.
The company has nominated its bargesIroquois and Titan II to carry out the work beginning in July.
