ABERDEEN, UK --RBG has delivered a specially fabricated structure to aid repairs to the UK's Central Area Transmission System pipeline in the UK North Sea.
Following damage to the line in June, BP asked RBG's fabrication division in Invergordon, eastern Scotland, to manufacture a metal sleeve to strengthen and protect the affected area.
The company managed to fabricate and test the sleeve, then deliver it to the CATS reception terminal on Teesside, northeast England, within 19 days. Twenty personnel were involved in the construction program.
