Petrobras has awarded Intec Engineering a contract including FEED and detail engineering covering several subsea pipelines and related activity, according to Intec.

HOUSTON --Petrobras has awarded Intec Engineering a contract including FEED and detail engineering covering several subsea pipelines and related activity, according to Intec. Work on the two-year plus two-year option contract is scheduled for Intec's Rio de Janeiro office.

"We have been working for Petrobras for the last three years, performing FEED and detail engineering for some important subsea pipeline projects, including Manati, Jubarte and more recently Mexilhao and Canapu, says Francesco Santoro, general manager of Intec do Brasil. "Through this new umbrella contract, we will continue to support Petrobras' efforts in enlarging its deepwater pipelines network."
