LONDON –Williams has contracted Corus Tubes to supply 312 km (194 mi) of linepipe for Perdido Norte in the Gulf of Mexico deepwater.
The 18-in (45.7-cm) pipe is scheduled to be placed in the first half of 1008 from the FPS in Alaminos Canyon 857 to East Breaks block 994, and thence to Williams Seahawk pipeline in East Breaks block 599. Pipe diameter will range from 19.1 mm to 27 mm (3/4 to 1 in).
The production line and pipeline will be in water depths of 3,500 to 8.300 ft (1,067 to 2,530 m).
