Houlder completes pipelay vessel engineering

LONDON –The recently completed newbuild Normand Seven offshore support vessel the vessel is headed for Vitoria, Brazil, for work on the Roncador project.

TheNormand Seven is a 130-m (426.5-ft) long, DP vessel chartered from Solstad Offshore ASA by Subsea 7. It was built in Norway and fitted with flexible pipe lay equipment at A&P Tyne Ltd.

Houlder Ltd. did the detailed design work for the modular pipelay deck and seatings for the flexible pipelay equipment on the vessel.
