SINGAPORE – CPC Corp. has awarded Hallin Marine Subsea International Ltd. a contract to carry out a free-span correction offshore Taiwan. The project, which already is completed, was in water depths of 80 to 110 m (262 to 361 ft). Hallin used ROVs and saturation divers working from the DP-2 Sanko Angel.
The work on CPC’s LNG pipeline in the Taiwan straits was done with support from Hallin’s local partner, Unilux.
Hallin supplied and operated its own designed and built C-ROVs vehicles, a 12-man SAT system and all the grouting equipment, survey, deck, and project personnel onboard the Sanko Angel, along with grout and groutbags. Unilux performed onsite pipeline survey work.
