Offshore staff

HOUSTON -- Oceaneering International has delivered and installed a 28 km (17.5 mi) steel tube umbilical on the Cottonwood field for Petrobras America Inc.

The umbilical consists of two electrical quads for power and signal operations and eleven super duplex steel tubes for hydraulic power and chemical injection. It was manufactured at the Oceaneering Multiflex plant in Panama City, Florida, and installed with the DP multiservice vesselOcean Intervention II.

Cottonwood, located in Garden Banks block 244 in 671 m (2,200 ft) of water, is a two-well, subsea development tied back to a fixed platform in East Cameron block 373.
