ConocoPhillips has awarded Acergy SA a contract to install an oil transportation pipeline between the Ekofisk and Eldfisk platforms in the Norwegian North Sea.

London -- ConocoPhillips has awarded Acergy SA a contract to install an oil transportation pipeline between the Ekofisk and Eldfisk platforms in the Norwegian North Sea.
The $60-million contract covers installation and tie-in of a 9.4-km (5.8-mi), 61-cm (24-in.) diameter pipeline. TheAcergy Piper will begin installation in November 2006. The Acergy Osprey will begin the tie-in work in 3Q 2007.
