PARIS --Total has resumed fracturing operations on wells drilled last year on its Anguille field re-development offshore Gabon.
Work was interrupted last December when the contract for the well stimulation vessel expired, but a new agreement has since been signed. The program calls for six stimulation operations, one of which is optional.
Operations continue to expand the capacity of the existing production facilities. A 12-in. (30.5-cm) pipeline has been laid between the AGM 15 and AGM PFC platforms to carry production from the new wells.
Basic engineering for the new AGM N1 and N2 wellhead platforms is nearing completion. In March a call for tenders was issued for long-lead equipment for these installations, i.e. steel and cranes.
Last month Total also completed drilling of a new well on Anguille, AGM 65.
