MOSCOW -- Gazprom has welded the first joint of the Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi gas pipeline. The 177-km (110-mi) pipeline includes a 159.5-km (99-mi) offshore section. It will run on the coastline of the Black Sea to the Kudepsta gas distribution station near Sochi, Russia, and will have an annual throughput capacity of 3.8 bcm.
