LONDON -- ACS Cobra Castor UTE has awarded J P Kenny a contract for construction management and procurement support services offshore Spain.
The three-year contract follows on from J P Kenny’s FEED and detailed design for the project, and includes work on a 22-km (14-mi) offshore pipeline and a 9-km (5.6-mi) onshore pipeline. JPK will also provide services for a block valve station, a 31-km (19-mi) fiber optic cable, control umbilical, subsea isolation valve, and protection structure. The project supports offshore gas storage that will be re-injected into the Spanish National Grid.
