CONSTANTA, Romania – E.ON E&P has contracted Grup Servicii Petroliere for pipelay and trenching services on the Hunter gas pipeline replacement project in the UK southern North Sea.
The scope comprises installation of 8 km (4.9 mi) of 8-in. (20.3-cm) pipeline between the Hunter wellhead and the Murdoch K well, trenching and backfilling, survey, project management, and engineering.
Offshore operations should start in March 2013 on the Hunter field, with theGSP Falcon performing pipelay.
