Aker Solutions wins Delta field umbilicals contract

Petrom has awarded Aker Solutions an $8.7 million contract to supply steel tube umbilicals for the Delta field in the Black Sea.

OSLO -- Petrom has awarded Aker Solutions an $8.7 million contract to supply steel tube umbilicals for the Delta field in the Black Sea. The 12 km (7.4 mi) of steel tubes will be manufactured out of Aker Solutions' facility in Moss, Norway, with delivery anticipated by as early as July 2008.
