Irish Sea pipeline shut in following leak

LONDON – Around 500 bbl of oil has reportedly leaked from a subsea pipeline operated by Eni UK offshore the north Wales coast.

Eni has shut down the pipeline, connecting the Conwy and Douglas platforms, following the leak on Monday. The incident is said to have occurred 20 mi (33 km) north of Rhyl, in Liverpool Bay in the East Irish Sea.
