IJMUIDEN, the Netherlands – Anasuria Operating Co. Ltd. (AOC) has contracted Airborne Oil & Gas to provide a thermoplastic composite pipe (TCP) jumper spool for the Guillemot field in the UK central North Sea.
The 2-in. ID, 345-psi (23.9-bar) gas lift jumper spool will be deployed on the field later this summer.
It will be Airborne’s third TCP jumper spool for a North Sea project in the past three years. The first was delivered to Chevron in 2016 for the Alder project.
TCP is a non-conductive, non-corrosive flexible pipe that can be installed through a subsea pallet, avoiding the need for expensive metrology and reducing project timetables.
