Noreco farms into Danish licenses

OSLO, Norway --Noreco Energy Co. is acquiring 12% interest in two licenses in the Danish North Sea from Chevron Denmark.
Licenses 9/06 (Gita) and 9/95 (Maja), both operated by Maersk, are west of the Amalie discovery. According to Noreco, both have prospectivity in Jurassic reservoirs.
Noreco negotiated the transaction via its 100%-owned subsidiary Altinex Oil Denmark. The agreement is subject to approval of the Danish authorities and the co-licensees Shell, Dong, and the Danish Offshore Fund.
