Grenland Group has signed a contract to supply an integrated template structure and a manifold to FMC Technologies for use at Statoil’s Marulk field in the Norwegian Sea.

STAVANGER, Norway – Grenland Group has signed a contract to supply an integrated template structure and a manifold to FMC Technologies for use at Statoil’s Marulk field in the Norwegian Sea.
The NOK 32 million ($4.9 million) contract will be performed at Langesund and Røra. Planned construction of the 340-metric ton (375-ton) structures is scheduled to begin in June with delivery to start in May 2011.
Marulk is in the Norwegian Sea, 18 mi (30 km) southwest of the Norne field at a water depth of 1,200 ft (365 m). Initial development is to be two wells tied back to the Norne FPSO. Eni Norge AS is operator and the other partners include Statoil Petroleum AS and DONG E&P Norge. Statoil will assist Eni Norge with central tasks in connection with the subsea installations and the tie back to the Norne FPSO.
