Pioneer withdraws from STP Joint Development Zone

Pioneer Resources Africa Ltd. has notified the Nigeria - Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority that it is withdrawing from participation in blocks 2 and 3 of the JDZ.

(West Africa) - Pioneer Natural Resources Co.'s subsidiary, Pioneer Resources Africa Ltd., has notified the Nigeria - Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority that it is withdrawing from participation in blocks 2 and 3 of the Joint Development Zone in offshore Nigeria, Sao Tome, and Principe.
