(Aberdeen) Dana Petroleum (E&P) has completed an asset transaction with Gaz de France that gives it a 25% interest in Anglia, a producing field in the UK southern gas basin. Dana also gains an additional 22.113% interest in the Johnston gas field in the same region.
Anglia is situated 90-km off England's Lincolnshire coast, and produces from six wells to a normally unmanned platform tied back via a 24-in, pipeline to ConocoPhillips' Loggs complex; gas is processed onshore at Theddlethorpe. Following these transfers, Dana's North Sea gas production has increased by around 13 MMcf/d, adding 19 bcf to its proven and probable North Sea gas reserves.
