Offshore staff

(Oslo) OMV is to open a branch office in Norway, after pre-qualifying to become an operator on the Norwegian shelf. The company also plans to participate in the country's 2006 Awards in Predefined Areas (APA) licensing round, which is offering 192 blocks in the Barents Sea, Norwegian Sea and North Sea. OMV will also pursue other non-related opportunities.
