(Canada) - The Energy Council allows provincial, state, and local government leaders and energy industry executives to discuss emerging themes in the industry.
Nova Scotia, Alberta, British Columbia and Newfoundland and Labrador are represented, as well as Venezuela and 10 American states.
"There is tremendous opportunity to discuss Nova Scotia's offshore and onshore and the new and emerging developments in renewable energy," says Nova Scotia's Energy Minister Bill Dooks.
"We also want to showcase our province to delegates from around the world."
"Although the leadership of the Energy Council has visited Nova Scotia repeatedly, this will be our first opportunity to bring the entire council to the province," says Energy Council chair John Smith of Louisiana.
