ABERDEEN – TSMarine (Consulting) has added five wells to its upcoming UK North Sea multi-client abandonment program.

The program, set to start this summer, now comprises five Category 2 and three Category 1 wells in the southern and central North Sea. The latest commissions, from Genesis, Perenco and DNO International, follow earlier contracts from Tullow Oil and Centrica.

The 25-day campaign, with a total value of over £4 million ($6.54 million), is designed to spread the mobilization and transit costs associated with decommissioning.

As lead contractor, TSMarine will mobilize the multi-purpose offshore support vessel; develop the work scope, including tooling, selecting and supervising subcontractors; and execute the offshore operations.

The project team also will conduct well reviews, hazard identification and risk assessment, and emergency response planning.

Last year TSMarine managed a similar multi-client program for BP, Perenco and Tullow.
