ABERDEEN, UK – Helideck Certification Agency has agreed to subcontract Flight Safety of Queensland, Australia, to inspect and certify helidecks offshore southeast Asia and Australia.
Flight Safety Helideck Certification will inspect to the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s CAP 437 standards, with approvals issued in Aberdeen and sanctioned by the UK CAA.
“The formal standards set for the safe and effective use of helidecks in North Sea operations are acknowledged to be the best and most stringent in the world and we’ll be working to those compliancy levels in this new arrangement,” says Alan Veale, HCA general manager.
