ABERDEEN, UK – At Offshore Europe, Schlumberger announced the combining of its fishing and intervention services, which will be delivered through SERVCO services.
The new service organization will offer fishing and pipe recovery, wellbore departure, wellbore abandonment, and thru-tubing well intervention tools and services.
Wesley Heiskell, vice president of SERVCO services, said: “Increased and more challenging industry activity especially in shale plays and additional government regulations for offshore drilling in the United States and the North Sea is growing demand for well intervention and abandonment services.”
