OME 2013: ExxonMobil introduces new oil for gas turbines

A new oil for gas turbines that helps cut unscheduled downtime and raise productivity was featured at the Offshore Middle East Conference & Exhibition in Doha.

DOHA, Qatar –A new oil for gas turbines that helps cut unscheduled downtime and raise productivity was featured at the Offshore Middle East Conference & Exhibition in Doha.

ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties introduced Mobil DTE 932 GT for use in frame-size combustion gas turbines with a common hydraulic and bearing oil reservoir. This type turbine is employed routinely in natural gas liquefaction.

Benefits of the new oil, said YanCôté, global business development advisor for ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties, include reduced varnish, high temperature performance, deposit and foam control, and air release.

ExxonMobil also is showcasing a number of other high-performance lubricants and its online oil analysis service, Signum Oil Analysis.
