ABERDEEN, UK – GCG Group has introduced a new spray-applied coating designed to provide lifetime protection for subsea and topside equipment at Offshore Europe.
PPC 553 is a VOC, CFC, and solvent-free coating which the company claims can be applied to almost any surface with minimal preparation. It dries in seconds, allowing treated facilities to return to normal operation quickly.
Downtime involved in recoating and maintenance is much lower than with traditional coatings, the company adds.
