Elf Gabon and MPDC Gabon have signed a development and production-sharing contract with the Gabonese Republic for the Baudroie-Merou Marine license.
The agreement covers the Baudroie, Baudorie Nord Marine, and Baliste Sardine fields, 25 km offshore Olende Gabon. The agreement extends the licenses for 10 more years. The company will perform seismic work and will drill an additional well in 4Q 2002.
