Offshore staff

Lundin Britain Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Lundin Petroleum AB, has started drilling operations on Phase 2 of the West Heather development offshore UK.

The Phase 2 development involves the drilling of two development wells. The operator will drill the first well on North Terrace, which is a separate structure next to the Broom field. The second well will be an additional infill well on the Broom producing field.

Lundin will complete both wells subsea with tie-backs to the existing Heather platform facility.

The operator expects incremental production from the development wells to come onstream in 4Q 2005.
