(Aberdeen, Scotland)-Enventure Global Technology has established a UK operation.
Enventure International, L.L.C., will facilitate the needs of the company's North Sea and European customer base.
Additionally, a recent developmental agreement between Enventure and Norwegian-based operator Hydro has made progress toward the first commercial installation of MonoDiameter in the North Sea. Enventure's MonoDiameter technology will eliminate well bore tapering bringing many mature and marginal reservoirs within economic reach.
Under the agreement, Hydro incorporates Enventure's MonoDiameter technology in its Teckno 2005 program in the Norwegian North Sea. The application has the potential to maximize recovery of reserves at lateral distances exceeding 10 km.
To date, SET technology has been installed at nine European offshore and land production wells for a number of operators, including Statoil, NAM, and Hydro.
