Shearwater Geoservices Holding will acquire a five-month 2D seismic survey offshore western India, as part of the country’s National Seismic Program.

The SW Thuridur will start work on the 15,500 line-km program during the current quarter.

Irene Waage Basili, CEO of Shearwater, said: “The data acquired will not only advance understanding of unappraised areas but will also lay the groundwork for future 3D seismic acquisition programs.”
