Shearwater Geo awarded large 3D survey offshore India

ONGC has issued a Letter of Award to Shearwater Geoservices Holding to acquire a 3D seismic survey offshore India’s east coast.

The Oceanic Sirius vessel will perform the four-month survey over a 2,200-sq km area, starting early next year.

Shearwater Geo has been working offshore India periodically for the past eight seasons, said CEO Irene Waage Basili.
