LONDON --Mediterranean Oil & Gas Plc. has awarded a seismic acquisition program in Area 4 offshore Malta to Seabird Exploration. The M/V Geo Mariner is expected to arrive in Malta later this month.
The initial targets are the prospects at Hagar Qim, Skorba, and Tarxien, plus the newly identified Luzzu. The contract calls for some 1,000 km (621 mi) lines of 2D seismic.
