Survey off Malta on schedule

A seismic survey offshore Malta in blocks 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Area 4 is on schedule to begin this month. Mediterranean Oil & Gas Plc. says Seabird Exploration's Geo Mariner will conduct the week-long survey.

ROME --A seismic survey offshore Malta in blocks 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Area 4 is on schedule to begin this month. Mediterranean Oil & Gas Plc. says Seabird Exploration's Geo Mariner will conduct the week-long survey.

Leni Gas & Oil Plc has contracted the 1,000 km (621 mi) 2D survey as part of a $5million farm-in agreement to earn a 20% interest. The targets are identified prospects at Hagar Qim, Skorba, Tarxien, and the newer Luzzu.
