Wavefield gets LOI for North Sea projects

OSLO, Norway --Wavefield Inseis ASA has received a Letter of Intent from Statoil for 3D and 4D seismic acquisition programs in the North Sea.
TheGeowave Commander is assigned to the work, which involves several surveys and is expected to last four months.
Wavefield also has reported that the 12-streamer 3DGeowave Champion has completed sea trials and is scheduled for delivery on July 19, whereupon it will mobilize for Statoil
The similar capacityGeowave Master is scheduled for release from the yard by the end of this week also. It will go to the North Sea for Gas de France Norge.
At the end of July, the long-offset 2DMalene Østervold is scheduled for delivery and to begin working for Chevron early in August.
