Madalena starts 3D seismic program off Tunisia

Madalena Ventures Inc. has begun an offshore 3D seismic program in the Pelagian basin offshore Tunisia on the Hammamet block.

CALGARY, Canada –Madalena Ventures Inc. has begun an offshore 3D seismic program in the Pelagian basin offshore Tunisia on the Hammamet block.

The seismic program is aimed at evaluating possible reactivation of Tazerka field and to identify the most prospective drilling locations for 2008.

With 1.1 million acres, Hammamet is offset by the Oudna field which went on production at the end of 2006.
