Nido set to complete Philippines seismic survey

Nido Petroleum expects to shoot 5,475 km (3,402 mi) of 2D and 826 sq km (319 sq mi) of 3D seismic survey over service contracts 54, 58, and 63 in acreage offshore North West Palawan basin of the Philippines by the end of next month.

PERTH, Australia-- Nido Petroleum expects to shoot 5,475 km (3,402 mi) of 2D and 826 sq km (319 sq mi) of 3D seismic survey over service contracts 54, 58, and 63 in acreage offshore North West Palawan basin of the Philippines by the end of next month.

CGGVeritas will process the seismic data in Malaysia and Singapore. The shoot began on Nov. 1 but encountered disruptions due to poor weather.

Nido and partner PNOC Exploration are working on the blocks.
