HOUSTON –FMC Technologies Inc. says its new Subsea Customer Support Center in Houston is fully operational.
This dedicated support center aims to reduce turnaround time and to provide more efficient, reliable customer service, FMC says. The facility also expands FMC's subsea tree manufacturing and servicing capacity.
The center includes approximately 55,000 sq ft (5,110 sq m) of equipment testing, mobilization, maintenance, and refurbishment space, plus high bay and gas test facilities. The complex will house dedicated project teams and a 24/7 rapid-response command center to support ongoing offshore installation, intervention, and decompletion services.
