BG contracts Wavefield for Tulipan West

OSLO, Norway --BG Group has issued a letter of intent to Wavefield Inseis for a 3D seismic survey in the Tulipan West license Norwegian Sea.

The survey, over block 6302/6, will get under way next year and should take two to three months to acquire. Wavefield will deploy one of its two new multi-streamer vessels, theGeowave Master.

The company has won a series of new contracts over the last few weeks, and 60% of its existing capacity is already sold for 2008. This will also be its first project with BG.
