TGS charters 2D seismic vessel

ASKER, Norway --TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co. ASA has signed a two-year charter for a 2D seismic vessel to be named BGP Atlas. BGP is outfitting the vessel with delivery scheduled for June 2007.

TGS has an option to extend the contract for two consecutive one-year periods, and expects to deploy the vessel into the North Sea.
