Emgs boosts processing power

OSLO, Norway --Dell is to help emgs expand its computer cluster capability at its facility Trondheim, Norway.

Currently, the existing cluster is 100% occupied, due to strong demand for seabed logging processing services. The new $6.55 million Dell investment will expand the cluster from the existing 500 server nodes to 1,800 servers, increasing emgs' computing power from 7.2 to 70 Tflops.
